Backend engineer. I build for the moments when the system is under real load — not the demo.

02 — about

Architecture over stack.

I'm a backend engineer finishing an M.Sc. in Computer & Communication Engineering. Most of my work lives in the JavaScript ecosystem, but the language is the least interesting decision — what I care about is the shape of a system: where the load lands, what happens when a call fails halfway through, what breaks first under pressure.

That instinct for structure isn't only technical — I read slowly and think in long chains of reasoning before I trust a conclusion. It shows up in how I engineer: understand the system before you touch it.

Right now I'm going deeper into AI infrastructure, building Governor. I want to work where the backend carries real weight — healthcare, public infrastructure, AI platforms.

a mechanical device that automatically limits speed. here: a gateway that automatically limits what an LLM call is allowed to cost.
01 — LLM INFRASTRUCTURE

Governor

A lightweight LLM gateway, built in Go (learning Go as I go). Real-time cost visibility and hard spend caps — atomic budget checks before a request goes out, mid-stream cancellation the instant one is hit — without standing up LiteLLM/Helicone-style infrastructure.

02 — PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE

M2C — Municipality Management Platform

Resident records, requests, internal workflows — built to hold up under the unglamorous, high-stakes load public systems actually see.

MelhemAuto

A management system for a working auto-service business in Africa — real customers, still in production. Built for reliability first: this one can't go down mid-shift.

NjoumIN PROGRESS

A full system (mobile app + web platform) for enhancing the safety and support of girls and young women — real-time SOS emergency alerts and live location sharing via map APIs.

NexusCLIENT PROJECT

A multi-platform news app (Flutter/Next.js) with a world-map UI. Supabase/PostgreSQL-backed, using Gemini AI for summaries, quizzes, and toxicity filtering — schema tracks users, articles, and engagement across web and mobile.
